The Firm

The firm of DAMM & MANN was established in August 2000 by Renate Damm and Roger Mann, both former in-house counsels of major German publishing houses as a “media law boutique”. In 2006 the firm was nominated as “Media Law Firm of the Year” and awarded “Niche Firm of the Year” by the editors of JUVE Magazine.

Besides press and unfair competition law the firm specialises in cartel, copyright and trade mark law, internet law and data protection.

The firm provides special expertise for employment law issues in media companies.

As media companies increasingly diversify into telecommunication and postal markets, the firm has encompassed specialist know how in the field of the privatisation of such former public sector companies.
