Olaf C. Sauer

After completing law school in Cologne and his traineeship in Hamburg, Olaf Sauer commenced his professional career at the Frankfurt office of Andersen Luther in the IT/IP department. Olaf Sauer joined DAMM & MANN in 2002 and became partner in February 2009.

Besides issues of press law and intellectual property law, he is certified as a specialist for employment law („Fachanwalt für Arbeitsrecht“).

Alongside his legal traineeship, Olaf Sauer studied arts and media management at the University of Music and Theatre, Hamburg and graduated with a degree in “Diplom Kulturmanager”. Now he is lecturer for press law and labour law at the Institute of Arts and Media Management.

Olaf Sauer is a member of the German Association for Intellectual Property and of the Association of Arts and Media Management and a committee member of the Association "Freunde des Deutsches Schauspielshaus" in Hamburg.
